Text, fonts and time fields

Text style

Select a text box and open Text style:

  • Font: Sans, Serif, Mono, Rounded, Handwriting and more from the graphics library ("More fonts...").
  • Fit to box (on by default): the text takes the largest size that fits its box without splitting a word. Turn it off to set a fixed Size.
  • Bold, Italic, Underline and the alignment.

Time fields

A time field is a date or time that is worked out when you print, not when you save. Use Insert date / time under the text: choose Now or Today, optionally In or Ago with an amount of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years, and a format - Date and time, Date, Time, Weekday or End of day.

In the text, a time field looks like this:

You typePrints (on 31 October 2026, 14:05)
{now:date}31.10.2026
{now+3d:date}03.11.2026
{now+6mo:date}30.04.2027
{now+1w:weekday}Saturday
{now:time}14:05
{now+2d:eod}02.11.2026 23:59

Units: min, h, d, w, mo, y. The date order and the weekday names follow your app language. The preview shows the values as of now.

Example: "Made {now:date} · best before {now+6mo:date}" - the Jar template uses exactly this.

Numbered series (Pro)

Put {n} in a text (or use Insert number) and print several copies: {n} counts them - 5 copies print 1 to 5. "Box {n}/12" makes moving-box labels in one go. The preview shows the series; printing it needs Pro.
