QR codes, attachments and sharing

QR codes

Add a QR code box and choose its Code content:

• Text or Link: anything you type.
• Wi-Fi: the Network name and Password. Guests scan the code and join the network - no typing.
• Contact: Name, Phone and E-mail as a contact card the phone offers to save.
• Attachments: a code that opens the files you attached to this sticker (Pro, below).

Barcodes are available too (Barcode).

Attachments behind a QR code (Pro)

Put a manual, a receipt, a recipe, photos or a voice note behind a sticker's code:

1. Save the sticker (attachments belong to a saved sticker).
2. Add a QR code box, choose Attachments, and use Add file or Add photo.
3. Print. Scanning the code opens the attachments.

Limits: PDF, photo, text, audio or video files, up to 50 MB each, 20 per sticker, 1 GB in total for your account.

Private or public

• Private (default): the code opens the attachments in EVoStickers - only for you, signed in. Anyone else who scans it sees nothing.
• Public link: anyone who scans the code sees the sticker's name and its attachments, without an account. The files are handed out through links that work for 15 minutes; public pages are not indexed by search engines.

You can switch a code back with Make private - the public link stops working at once, also on stickers already printed. New link replaces the public link with a new one (reprint the sticker so its code uses it). Don't put other people's personal data behind a public link unless you may share it.

Deleting an attachment, or the sticker, removes the files; codes already printed then show nothing.
